Zavala Law Group (“ZLG”) is a Los Angeles, California based boutique law firm that focuses on Civil Rights law, Personal Injury Compensation and serves as General Counsel to various organizations. The law firm is comprised of attorneys, legal experts and consultants who have a wide range of knowledge, experience and expertise, and take a holistic client-centered approach to legal issues.

ZLG is determined to offer the best representation to our clients. Managing Attorney

Salomon Zavala, ESQ.

Salomon Zavala is the founder and Managing Attorney at Zavala Law Group. Zavala has represented various clients providing them with strategic legal counsel and is a skilled and experienced negotiator who draws from his broad range of resources to attain the most positive results. Zavala carefully listens to his clients’ objectives and helps develop a comprehensive legal strategy to meet the desired outcomes with a compassionate and client-centered approach.

Zavala has handled a variety of matters including civil rights and serious personal injury cases with much success. He has delivered great results and seven-figure settlements for his clients from all over California, including victims of police abuse and negligent wrongful death actions.

He has also successfully represented various organizations with an array of legal issues, including employment and complex immigration matters. He currently serves as General Counsel for several small businesses and nonprofit organizations, where he handles the day-to-day legal affairs, including managing counsel in complex civil litigation and transactional matters.

Having worked for a large firm, Zavala is familiar with complex, commercial civil litigation matters, and has represented clients in depositions, mediations and various court hearings. Moreover, Zavala has provided various organizational clients with legal compliance trainings and serves as Executive Director of an innovative criminal justice reform organization. Zavala is also very active in ZLG’s pro bono program, including having represented minors in asylum proceedings, wrongful conviction representation and indigenous peoples rights advocacy.

Zavala attended Amherst College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in 2001, and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley School of Law, where he received his law degree in 2005. Zavala was raised in South Central Los Angeles, California and is a son of Mexican parents. He is fluent in Spanish and represents and sits on the board of various community-based nonprofit organizations, including an indigenous community development organization based in East Los Angeles and a victims/survivors advocacy nonprofit organization in Watts, California.
